A Lesson Not Learned

A Lesson Not Learned is an avant-garde short film which tells the story of a girl who has just turned thirteen years old. She struggles to survive in a world, in which it is impossible to do the right thing. Her parents are expecting her to be a mature young adult, while also suppressing her own ideas.

The story analyses the daily and subtle violence that lies beneath education, using expressionistic and surreal elements, in order to point out the teenager´s perspective.
